Just another plain ol day here lol Lil Angela has been even more entertaining than usual :) I told her it was time to wake daddy up so she goes running to our room yelling, "Daddddyyyyy gotta uuup" lol he just grunted at her and poor thing she goes "sowwy" lol well when he didn't say anything to that she looks at me with that "I'm gonna get him" look, then proceeds to walk around to his side of the bed, smack the covers where she thought his leg should be and yells out at him, "I said up now putz!" rofl I couldn't control the laughter which made her get a case of the giggles lol she "putzed" him to death til he left. When he went to take a shower we fixed his lunchbox then she took off to the bathroom asking if he was using "shapoo" lol and then says "not my ducky now!"
I may not post tomorrow, I know I was on such a good roll, only missing Sunday, but tomorrow night is the concert and I should try to take a nap before we go, but I promise I'll post on Friday to fill you in :) *cross your fingers that they will have daryle t-shirts lol*
oh, please use the comment thingy here pretty please?!? my stupid tag-board was down again when I started to post, I swear I'm gonna get rid of that thing, shoot it works less than I do rofl
I'm heading back to work, got several custom adoptables to work on plus a custom set, but I will do my best to hop back on later and make the rounds :) Have a terrific thursday ladies!!

My little baby is growing up so fast! We have finally found a cup she will drink out of, it's one of those with the straws, and it's still leakproof! I'm still sending her to bed with her "ba-ba" but it won't be much longer til she will demand her cup *sigh* She's in here poking me in the ribs now to tickle and then bumps my elbow to see me mess up lol I barely got to sit down here for a couple of minutes, she's determined to get me to go nite-nite on the couch lol I admit I would love to lay down, but my silly girl seems convinced I need covers lol
Are ya'll having problems with tag-board? There have been several times when I tried to check mine I got those stupid errors..thinking about taking that down and just using the comments here, least those I don't miss... speaking of missing things..lol what in tarnation is up with all the blog memes disappearing? I've been enjoying them and looking forward to most of them and now they up and go poof on me lol
It's time for mommy to go make a skirt out of a baby blanket now rofl have a wonderful wednesday ya'll!

Another yucky stormy day in the suffocating south lol rumor has it there are some tornado warnings out, but it hasn't been listed on the weather page yet.
I've been running all day long it seems like, lil Angela got up sick this morning, and hasn't been able to keep anything down other than pedialyte and crackers, poor thing she can't understand why mommy won't give the milk back :(
I watched the Designing Women reunion tonight and gave myself a manicure, it's the first time I've done more than a quick filing in ages, I'm sure it won't last long tho lol
The weather is getting stirred up again, so if I don't get back online and make visits tonight you'll know the storm won't buzz off lol

We went to mom's today to pick up Angela and talked her into watching Angela Thursday so we can go to a concert, Daryle Singletary is gonna be there! I just looove him! Charlie Daniels, Blackhawke and more will be there too so it should be an excellent concert! We met Waymond in town and went out to eat at Cancun, course we laughed ourselves silly at some of the folks there lol I tried my first "real" Pina Colada, it wasn't too bad actually, a little strong but good, then we hit wal-mart grabbed a new book then headed for Blockbuster. They have started watching some movie now, and seem to be really getting into it lol they're over here yellin uh-oh and making all sorts of grunting noises rofl
I had to blog right quick, but gotta hurry before they eat all the popcorn lol

When you hear that a movie is coming out that you know is based on a book, do you read the book first or wait for the movie? Sometimes, I had to read Deep End of the Ocean before it ever made it to theaters here

Are you a purist, and get upset/angry if a film adaptation does not stay 100% to the book? not usually, tho I was terribly offended that they left so much out of the Lifetime movie Message from Nam, that is still one of my favorite books!
Have you ever refused to see a movie because the casting of a major character was controversial (like Tom Cruise as Lestat or Renee Zellweger as Bridget Jones)? no
What is your favorite genre of book and movie? the books I live on now are murder mysterys, stuff like that..movies...most anything tho I'm not real wild about sci-fi, even tho I watch them with Greg

It's been one of those days where I just can't get with it. Greg woke me up for no apparent reason this morning, he ended up playing some songs for me he had downloaded and of course I didn't care for any of them, why he bothers me with stuff other than country is beyond me! I admit I like a very limited amount of rock & hip-hop but he knows what will make my eardrums hurt lol.
The girls have been pretty good today, up until Greg got up, and since he's left they have been totally wild and brat-ified. 'Taye won't shut up and let Angela be in peace or go to sleep, so Angela is in jumping bean mode. Greg said his grandparents are planning to come on Saturday, I swear I'm about tempted to see if they won't come and get 'Taye tomorrow! she is driving me up the wall! There are all kinds of stuff for her to do at the farm, plant flowers, play in the weeds lol, mess around with the horses...here I think she is suffering from boredom tho I don't know why, the child has her own computer, coloring books coming out her ears, a full shelf of books and all kinds of other stuff but yet she has nothing to do and nothing to play with *sigh* she definitely doesn't take after me, at that age I was a total bookworm, I'd rather read than breathe lol
I've been in psp for a couple hours, but I needed a quick break but I'm heading back to my canvas to see if I can get anything accomplished :)

Ugh! 6:22 am and I'm still up! I figured since I've been up all night I should go ahead and blog cause once I go to sleep I won't remember when I wake up lol I probably could've dozed off a couple hours ago, but I'm making myself stay up now so I can spend a little time with Greg, we haven't spent any time together since Sunday and I'm in one of my moods where I miss him non-stop, shoot I've even tried to talk him into skipping work lol
There's nothing new and exciting to tell really, just more storms *sigh* I did alot of drawing last night so at least I managed to accomplish something, right? I did alot of thinking too which is never a good thing ;) I thought about giving the blog the axe, but I'm gonna keep it just for me, for now anyway, even thought about going to college..see what happens when I don't sleep? alot of mindless thinking lol

Well here it is after 2:30 in the morning and I'm still up..yuck! It stormed off and on all day, so I didn't even get to check email til really late, and of course I had to shut right back down *sigh* I thought I should hop on and blog right quick while there's another lull in the storms..poor ol 'Taye is right here with me, she's just like mommy can't sleep a wink when it's storming. There hasn't been alot going on here, it's just been the same ol usual duller than dull stuff. The heating pad has been my best friend lately, which is why I haven't been online.
Over the weekend we finally tore down the big computer and instead of just a reformat and stuff we put in a new hard drive and modem, apparently mine died sometime after the hack 5 months ago, Greg decided he wanted to go get xp since I haven't died from using on the laptop lol
Greg was gonna take the kids Saturday and let me have the house to myself for a few hours because I still felt so cruddy, but before we even got Angela out of the tub his grandparents showed up and just wouldn't leave! so we finally caved in and let them take Bradley with them. We took 'Taye and did a bit of school shopping, just back-packs and such, now we just have to grab a couple pair of jeans and some new shoes for her and she's finished, I so dread taking Bradley clothes shopping! all he wears are sweat-pants and the dress code doesn't approve of them so now we have to try and find jeans for him! I'll definitely need sedatives for that lol, poor lil guy he hasn't wore jeans since he was like 3.

OY! What a week this has been! It started off pretty decent I suppose, I was suddenly the family favorite best friend lol I spent hours coloring with 'Taye, just playing with Angela and had Bradley talking up a storm! I even spent over 4 hours on the phone with my mom! the only bad thing was that Greg's brakes went out AGAIN! It has taken a nose-dive since then tho..On Tuesday I got sick and truthfully I'm still not better, even tho I've lapsed back into "I'm fine" answers. Today all 3 kids apparently took their "meaner than copperhead" pills or something tho! Chantaye got Angela & me both up at 8:30! then she proceeded to keep Angela up all day, and they are both still up yelling like banshees, even tho I made them go to bed a little after 8. Bradley is back in his no-talk mode, which means he will only talk to Greg, doesn't even want me to get him anything to eat. I swear I don't think even valium could help at this point, let alone calgon lol.
Greg's grandparents got back today from NJ, and they stopped by here on their way home (before time for Greg to be up! grrrrrr!!!) Guess what they wanted? no, not to let us know they made it back ok..they wanted the kids! I swear they act like we are a drop-off sitter service! Don't get me wrong I appreciate all the help it is when they watch the kids for us, but omg I have a fight on my hands everytime the kids come home, and now here they come before they've even been to their own house wanting to take them back! Greg tried to explain that we have to get Bradley a physical for school, buy him school clothes, and all that good stuff, and he has got to have a haircut this coming week if not before...but do you think that changed their minds or made any sense to them? of course it didn't!
I'm sorry to rant and ramble and rave but I'm about 2 steps from literally screaming at the top of my lungs!

It's been a regular ol dull day here..all we've done this weekend was watch movies and Greg mowed today, he didn't get finished before he had to get ready for work, he asked me if I was gonna finish it for him, I told him yeah sure when pig's fly backwards! lol
Since it's been so dull and I don't really have much to tell I'll do the

no I hate it! why? cause I've almost been struck by lightning and because I was alone when the big tornado hit a few years back.

I always knew where it came from, I thought it happened because God was angry

it was before I was even a teen-ager, I was almost struck by lightning, it followed right at my feet all the way from my room,down the hall, and into the living room

I'm not sure the sunshine fits now lol I just checked the weather and even tho it's been sunny & hot all day now they have us under a severe storm watch *sigh*
I went back to the dentist yesterday and got that other tooth pulled, the pain has still been cruddy tho, he said the reason he couldn't get me real numb and the reason it still hurts so bad is that the nerve is like raw and basically shot from having the other 2 teeth pulled on wednesday, I was yelling and moaning in pain within like 10-15 minutes after leaving the office. I got some stronger pain meds thankfully, they are helping a little but I'm still spending alot of time with my face buried in the heating pad, I still can't open my mouth very well so eating is almost impossible, good way to be on a diet tho I suppose lol

It's been a yucky stormy day, and I don't like it one bit! lol I don't mind the rain, as long as none of us are driving in it, it's the awful winds that shake the house that bother me.
I had hoped to post earlier, but I actually did quite a bit of drawing today so I was wrapped up in that when I could have the computer on. Greg's grandparents brought 'Taye & Bubba home today, so of course I had to spend alot of time trying to explain why they couldn't go up north with the grandparents. Greg's uncle passed away Wed. of a massive heart-attack so the grandparents were heading up to be with the family (their daughter), course they can't understand why Greg can't take off work for us to head up there too. *sigh* I tried to explain that he has been working 10 hours a day, and was supposed to work Fri. night too, but he managed to get off since I have to go back to the dentist if they can squeeze me in to pull this other tooth (it's loose and driving me into fits). We are gonna send a gift basket of some sort to Linda, if ya'll have suggestions I'd love to hear them!, we talked about sending flowers, but we "think" he is being cremated so a gift basket just makes more sense to me...
Since I'm posting at such an oddball time I'm gonna go ahead and do the Friday Five just in case I don't remember to later ;)

Ugh what a day! I didn't sleep alot last night, I was still awake at 5 am, well idiot boy calls me a lil after 8 just to see if I was up! I couldn't go back to sleep cause I had a monster and a half of a tooth-ache, the more I tried to ignore it and use orajel and such the worse it got! by the time Greg got home I was in tears. We finally got me in at the dentist, did you know most dentists consider emergency patients capable of waiting 2-3 weeks! anyhow we go to the dentist and he can't get me numb at all! I was ready to just let em whack my head off and be done with it, 8 shots later they finally had me numb just enough to keep me from cussing the dentist out (he knows me well lol) and they ended up pulling 2 teeth, 1 of those broke! and the one next to it broke too, so now the broken one is starting to hurt pretty bad. I have to go back next Wednesday, if not before, but I may have to go back before then and just let him go ahead and yank the one that broke *sigh* I often wonder if getting shot would hurt as bad as going to the dentist lol I know labor is easier by a long shot!
We had Angela with us today and she came inside to play around in the waiting room, they greeted her with "Hello lil miss Angela" she looked at them like they were totally nuts, got a real serious look on her face, cocked her head to the left slightly and says "No! I Mommy & Mimi" it was just too cute! guess ya had to be there tho lol
I was doing a wordsearch puzzle last night and it got me thinking..I know never a good thing lol
Why do they call them permanents? we all know they are only temporary...
Remember when dentists used to call them caps? well, now they call it crowns..why is this? Crowns go on your head!
Mothballs..sounds like a toy for a moth..why not call it moth-repellant?
Just thought I'd leave you with a few things to think about lol

I bet ya'll had plumb given up on me,but I'm baaack! lol I owe lots of special thanks to everyone for helping me thru these past weeks, I couldn't have made it without all of you! I owe an extra special thanks to Jana for her words of encouragement and most especially getting my blog back online and the new look :) looks wonderful doesn't it?
Now let's see if I can keep my train of thought going to tell ya'll the latest lol
We went to Dollywood while Greg was on vacation, and I am still beat! I have said the next time we go we have to rent a stroller for me lol I had never been so I had a ball! but omg! somebody should've warned me about all that walking..I don't do that much walking in a whole year! to me it was more like hiking lol We took 'Taye and the 1st day she was real good, but on Friday she was in mega-whine mode for no apparent reason. We took Waymond with us too (used to work with Greg) and he was worse than a teenager lol, at the motel he left the key in the door! can we say air-head?rofl then he got us in trouble on one of those water rides cause he was splashing water..then he lost his hat, and said it was because for once we sat behind them instead of in front lol needless to say I laughed myself sore at him & Greg just being their normal selves rofl
I had my follow-up at the dr. yesterday to make sure I was back to "normal" and she said I am fine now, but she did suggest I get a hysterectomy as soon as it is possible to fit it in my wild schedule with school starting soon, she even has a dr. all lined up and raring to go which was music to my ears! (i've begged for one since i was 15) I love the sound of a permanent fix to the endo. as opposed to countless more surgeries that only last a couple months.
well that's enough rambling..I know I haven't told alot about my time away, but most of it was spent laying around like 3rd base lol and now on to the this or that :)
