It's been a yucky stormy day, and I don't like it one bit! lol I don't mind the rain, as long as none of us are driving in it, it's the awful winds that shake the house that bother me.
I had hoped to post earlier, but I actually did quite a bit of drawing today so I was wrapped up in that when I could have the computer on. Greg's grandparents brought 'Taye & Bubba home today, so of course I had to spend alot of time trying to explain why they couldn't go up north with the grandparents. Greg's uncle passed away Wed. of a massive heart-attack so the grandparents were heading up to be with the family (their daughter), course they can't understand why Greg can't take off work for us to head up there too. *sigh* I tried to explain that he has been working 10 hours a day, and was supposed to work Fri. night too, but he managed to get off since I have to go back to the dentist if they can squeeze me in to pull this other tooth (it's loose and driving me into fits). We are gonna send a gift basket of some sort to Linda, if ya'll have suggestions I'd love to hear them!, we talked about sending flowers, but we "think" he is being cremated so a gift basket just makes more sense to me...

Since I'm posting at such an oddball time I'm gonna go ahead and do the Friday Five just in case I don't remember to later ;)

yep, think of her all the time. her name was Christy

2. Are you still in touch with this person?
unfortunately no :( things changed when I got married and she has since moved to Ohio

3. Do you have a current close friend?
my closest friends are online, I don't get out much here lol

4. How did you become friends with this person?
online lol

5. Is there a friend from your past that you wish you were still in contact with? Why?
yep, Christy..we were best friends for over 10 years, almost like sisters, usually if you saw one you saw the other

Hey Aretha hon! =) I am so sorry to hear about Greg's uncle, and your tooth! We had some storms here today, too....luckily, they didn't last long, and weren't until after Leah's bday fun! ;)Hmmm, gift basket ideas???Maybe go to a Christian bookstore, if you've got one nearby, and browse for things like "Chicken Soup for The Soul" line of books, a plaque or trinket of some sort with a comforting scripture on it, maybe put in some herbal tea bags and lotion with a soothing scent, like vanilla or lavendar or something? Thanks again for Leah's gifts, and sorry I wrote a book here in your comments!ROFLMBO!! Luv ya lots! <3

hey girlie...i got one email...but oh gosh so many problems at home...i'm trying to redo my blog and YUCK travis and i had an argument and SIGH...i hope everything is OK with you and i enjoy being your friend...thanks for everything!!
