I'm just a big ol' slacker, and that's all there is to it. I don't really have much of an excuse, just haven't been real motivated lately. I've spent my time reading or watching tv for the most part until I got hooked on pixel stuff again lol
Not alot of news here, so far it's been the kind of summer I enjoy, fairly calm and quiet. This past weekend got a little hectic tho. Thursday evening the alternator in my truck went bad on me so I had to rush home scared to death I wouldn't make it back. Friday was the usual rush around town trying to get things done and adding on the trouble of Greg having to work on the truck, Saturday we went to Knoxville to the Olive Garden, and I got a little tipsy lol first time that's happened in public in a verrrry long time! lol headed to the bookstore (yes I was still tipsy rofl) goofed around at Target then came home and watched movies. Sunday we had planned to just hide out, but we ended up spending the day moving my mom, we got everything done by 3 and rushed home so Greg could rest before going to work. Wednesday we took my truck to the shop to have the brakes done yet again! grrrr! and we will pick it up Thursday around 9ish or so and then drop by mom's to put the crib back together for her.
I'm sorry for not posting and visiting like I should, I think I have burn-out or something cause there are days I don't touch the computer at all, maybe I'll get it back together one of these days.

We are spending a relatively quiet weekend at home, well as quiet as it can get with 3 kids lol I had planned to go summer shoe shopping today but decided after the week we had home was what we needed. Our day was spent watching movies and munching, and of course I did some on-line shopping lol and then I got to work on my bookcases and began arranging the new ones by author and made my lil book-list that I've been meaning to make for ages.
There isn't too much going on here lately, I spent most of the week in bed, long story, but I won't bore ya'll with that...I switched dentist appointments with Greg so I went in on Friday for a quick filling, and of course there was nothing quick about it because for some reason he couldn't get me numb *sigh* the first time that's happened in awhile. anyway..moving on....
I decided to have a sale at my graphic shoppe, 40% off everything, and everything must go, I plan to close at least for our up-coming vacations, the re-opening, well that I haven't quite decided on yet.
I've been kinda sorta somewhat trying to teach 'Taye how to kick a soccer ball, and how to "volley" it (I can't remember if that's the right word or not) it's been ages since I got near a soccer ball so my "skills" are pretty comical now-days, we are quite the pair out there, she spends more time laughing at me than anything I think lol
I'm sorry I hadn't posted an update on 'Taye (thanks for reminding me Kathy) I guess I thought I had, but you know me I'm senile....
'Taye is doing really well, she's still pretty self-conscious about her scar so we are working on trying to get her past that part. We still don't have any "final" results on the hiopsy! I know pretty dang pathetic, we have called the drs office several times and they have told us they are still waiting on the paper report from vand. and it hasn't come in yet, they said they have talked to the lab there and according to whoever they talked to all the results look perfectly normal, so I guess in a way we have the answer, but it would still make me feel better to be able to read a paper myself ya know..the nurse we are dealing with now at the drs office is really nice and is really beginning to push for a final report, I think maybe pushing is what it will take to get them on the stick. (the one we dealt with before didn't really seem to care, but the new one has grandkids about 'taye's age)

I know I said I wasn't going to change the lay-out and graphics yet but i couldn't sleep again so I figured I might as well piddle while I do some laundry, and yes it's the perfect way to stall to keep from washing dishes lol
I'm trying to do a site back-up since I haven't done one in ages, man I love dsl! I've got a little over half done now I guess and with old dial-up it would've taken at least 5 hours to do what I've done so far in only maybe an hour or so the adoption shoppe and the journal took the longest tho, course it would've went alot faster if I had just deleted all the haven stuff instead of saving it, course I could say the same about the graphic area too.
I'm off to finish the site stuff and hit those dishes since they apparently just won't help out and wash themselves rofl

Ugh! Where to start...I went back to the eye dr. on Friday, and got in a little trouble for having my contacts in but I was sick of the "sick-headaches". He prescribed a new eye drop for me, and I did some checking online before I used it and get this! the stupid stuff has all sorts of side effects, mostly the same exact things I've been dealing with, but you're not supposed to stop using it if you have the effects! call me crazy, but I thought if you had effects from meds you were supposed to ditch em..to top that off, like that ain't enough..you have to hold your eye a certain way and then make sure the drop doesn't get into the tear duct, (I reckon it can cause damage of some sort) and you must apply pressure to the inside corner of the eye for over 1 minute to try to prevent contact with the tear duct...maybe I'm crazy, but I'm not using the stuff! I told my mom, I don't use stuff that's supposed to help so why would I be stupid enough to use stuff that might hurt! Greg is convinced he just wants to keep me coming back, I'm starting to agree with him because we had to pay another co-pay on Friday and when we go for a follow-up we are covered 100%, and I wasn't in the mood to argue with them, I had to visit the friendly dmv and renew my poor expired license so arguing was the last thing on my mind lol I was afraid I would have to re-take the driver's test and I knew I would never be able to pass it.
There isn't much new to tell here, just the usual stuff that we all do everyday as a mom. I have been working on a new lay-out for the blog tho, but want to wait just a bit longer to put it up, basically it will be my summer lay-out unless I get bored with it too fast lol
I got a gift from Darylynn the other day, thank you so very much sweetie!!! (if you didn't get my email PLEASE let me know so I can resend it) thanks bushels!
I'm off to start another new book, I picked up some new ones on Saturday and spent all day/night Sunday reading until I finished one of them lol maybe I'll get lucky tho and be able to take a small nap before Greg comes home from work in a few hours.
