Well here I am being a slacker again..I wanted to post before now, but it is hard even now to put thoughts and feelings into words. I guess the only way is to start at the beginning..
Friday evening, Greg, Waymond, Angela & myself all headed to Knoxville for a little shopping and to get some bourbon chicken. We had a great time laughing and just enjoying the time out, we stopped at Ruby Tuesday on the way home, and while Angela & the guys ate I had a couple of drinks, and then we dropped Waymond off at his truck and then we headed on home.
When we got here, I came on in the house to put my purse & keys up while Greg was going to bring in the bags, when I went back outside to get Angela I didn't see Greg so I stepped around to see if he was on the other side of the house with Brodie, he looked up and told me not to come any closer, I didn't understand why so I took a couple of steps and then I saw why he wanted me to stay up on the sidewalk, Brodie was laying beside the back wall dead. Someone had unhooked him from his runner chain and had killed him, we called and had a deputy come out and make a report and he couldn't figure out the actual cause of death, and then when he finished we buried Brodie about 2am. We didn't want to do an autopsy, because that just didn't feel right, but we have talked to several vets, and the people we bought him from and from everything we saw they say that because of all of the blood and the fact that he had his jaws "locked", and his tongue was not completely intact, inside his mouth, it sounds like someone had poisoned him, or a very small possibility of someone having cut his tongue.
Bear is ok though, nothing at all had been done to him, so we are assuming that they chose to kill Brodie because he was more protective than Bear, and would bite a stranger.

My emotions just keep running in circles, I go thru the same basic grief pattern everyday, it feels like a neverending cycle, and I always end in the same place, I want & need revenge on the sleezebag that did this. I don't understand how anyone could kill a 7 month old puppy, he may have been 40lbs, and been on the big side, but he was still just a puppy.
Chantaye is taking it harder than we expected and has had to miss school one day this week because she is so upset. Angela just doesn't seem to understand, she keeps saying he ran away and will be back soon, and I don't know how to make her understand, I took her out and let her see his house is gone, and the cage we kept inside is gone, and took her to where we buried him, but everyday she asks if Brodie is back yet. Bradley has been the easiest one, but he is afraid of all animals no matter how small, except fish, so maybe that's a good thing, I don't know.
Anyway, that is why I haven't been around for a few days, I hope to get around and visit tonight or tomorrow, but it will all depend on how things go once the kids get home from school, whether I have any time on the computer.

I can't believe it is only Tuesday! It feels like it should be the weekend. There's no school this week so I guess that's why it feels so long.
It's a busy week though, I'm working on some web pages and adding little things slowly, but hopefully it won't take too long to get things added and updated, I've got another adorable set that I am just dying to use, but concentrating is hard with 4 other people in the house all running around and asking questions nonstop, I swear I don't know who is worse Greg or the kids lol
I'm adding an arcade to the Playground and not counting the casino we're up to 24 games now, and I still have more to add, but need to wait until everyone is asleep because I forgot to fix all the settings and such Sunday when I was adding games lol I knew I had a one track mind but I didn't know my track was so small lmao

We went and got Angela's hair cut today, she did better this time than she has before, so it looks like we have found a new girl to do her hair, because with everyone else, other than me, she wiggles and whines, so finding someone she likes is a major accomplishment. I have an appointment on Thursday morning to go get my nails done and I can't wait! lol This will be the first time I've done anything special just for myself since mother's day. I think I will be happier with it this time though, I've known the owner of the salon for years now and she knows how I like things, and after all I trust her to do my hair so I guess I can trust her with my nails ;) lol

I'm off to put fresh water in my vase, and do a little reading while I wait for Angela to go to sleep and then it's back to the dreaded html, or the not so bad php lol

Long time no blog! Yes, I have finally made it back from the land of the lost.
Life has been crazy here! I was very sick for quite a long time and wasn't able to do many things for myself most days, even using the laptop most of the time wasn't possible, and simply walking into the living room often required help, but I'm back now and tho I still have my days I am determined to get back in the swing of things.

So let's catch up...
Right now it's snowing like crazy outside, and it looks like there's possibly 2-3 inches maybe even more, but you won't catch me going out to measure it lol I'll find out soon enough how much is there when I take the dog out. I do believe the newest member of our family is determined to make me freeze lol his name is Brodie, he is a shepherd/spitz, he is 7 months old and is already bigger than our almost 11 year old chow/spitz, Bear. Brodie is rather rambunctious and you need truckloads of energy to keep up with him! I say I will be taking him for a walk, but it's more like he's walking me, one yank on the leash and I go flying lol he's a strong monster, but will definitely be a good protector, he already bit the propane delivery guy lmao luckily he thought it was funny and jumped back before Brodie got a good grip on him.

The kids are growing like weeds, and Angela is as funny as ever, her latest thing is yelling "For Crying Out Loud!" sometimes she does it for no apparent reason lol and she is starting to amuse herself by taking the last thing you say and then following you around singing it lol Yesterday Greg said he was going to take a shower so she gets behind him and follows him all thru the house singing "gonna take a showerrrrrrrr" lol the only way to get her to stop is to tell her to sing a new song or think up something she can't quite turn into a song ;)

Greg is back working as much as ever now that I'm back on my feet, I think we were both beginning to wear on each other's nerves tho, because I wanted to do things for myself and couldn't and then I would get mad at him because I was so dependant on him, I know that makes no sense, but I'd rather be doing my own stuff instead of laying around like 3rd base, although I didn't mind him doing the laundry lol As soon as I was able to drive again he went and bought me a new car in January,to celebrate he says, and I'm loving it! I've only drove my truck maybe 3 times since the first of the year and here I thought I would never be happy with a car again.

I finally figured out most of the php stuff before I got sick, and am back working with that now. I have a forum called Pixies Playground where you can "buy" graphics with "pixie dust" instead of real money. I'm working on adding some more things over there now, but had to take a break and decided it was time to return to blog land. I got these graphics from one of my best buds, Kim, and I couldn't wait to get them up.
I'm off to do a little more tinkering around and hopefully be around to catch up with everyone soon.
