I just wanted to let ya'll know I may be away for a few more days. Chantaye is very sick right now, with very high fevers, 102 is the average.
I'll be around to visit everyone as soon as my baby is better and doesn't need mommy.

Things are definitely back to normal here *sigh* all the kids came home Wed. afternoon wilder than a pack of rabid dogs and they haven't calmed down yet lol They have me so exhausted I went to bed at 8 last night and slept straight thru til 6:15 this morning! just between us, I'd still be asleep now if I had my druthers lol
The only thing new here is 'Taye is participating in a math-a-thon for St. Jude so we are trying to raise money for her. Pledges are supposed to be based at 3, 5, or 10 cents but some of the guys Greg works with are just donating a certain amount, they said it took too much brain power to do the math rofl!
I sent an email to Greg's dad asking him to pledge, mind you I despise this man, well I got no reply so Greg called him this morning and don't you know that skanky scuzz-bucket refused! Omg I was so peeved when Greg told me I could've croaked! The creature even had the balls to say," give some yourself and put my name on it"! Can you imagine?!?!?! I told Greg where he could go and what he could do with himself when he got there! All I can say is good thing he didn't say that to me! Sorry for the growlified post but I just had to vent!
Oh did ya notice my new lil blog fairy? Adorable ain't she? lol She was a gift from my friend Sani :) Thanks sweetie!
Well I'm off to wrestle with Bradley he is being so wild it ain't funny! Bring on the Calgon & the valiums rofl

Mornin' ya'll! I finally have some alone time for the first time in ages! I just dropped 'Taye off at school, mom has Angela and his grandparents have Bradley so we can go to an appt. later today, when I got out of the truck it was like ooh yess I'm alone so the first thing on my agenda was blogging! lol I do love my babies and yes, Greg too, but omg when you never get 5 minutes alone you just want to go hog-wild rofl Without all the hustle and bustle this morning of getting 4 of us ready while I was brushing 'Taye's hair I noticed just how long it's gotten! It's maybe 2 inches or so from her waist!!!! I couldn't believe it! now if we could just get my hair to grow like that! mine just refuses to grow at all, except my bangs so I always remind myself of a sheepdog lol
Not alot has been going on here lately.. I've got Ya-Ya here to watch but haven't got to it yet lol we watched Murder by numbers yesterday, well I watched he snored lol, it was pretty good but bless my silly soul I can't remember who did what roflThank you bushels & bunches everyone for all the sweet comments for 'Taye! I let her read all of them and she was queen of the hill let me tell ya! She goes running to Greg telling him all about it, and even told some of the teachers about them too lol
Ya'll helped boost her up so much that yesterday she informed the car-duty teacher that he needed to say her name right 'cause he was getting on her nerves rofl it was a hoot! He's been pronouncing it "shawn"taye, well she complained to me and then I noticed and it bugged me (major pet-peeve name mispronunciations). Yesterday she hopped out of the truck and gives him a look lol and says,"Mr. Wakefield, my name is "shhh ann taye" not shawn!" I giggled half the way home at the look on her face lol
I'm off to try and make all my visits before Greg gets home and interrupts me :)

Well miss 'Taye didn't win the reading contest :( she was pretty mad and upset when she got home, I was almost afraid to ask what happened, turns out some little girl read 62 books! I felt so sorry for 'Taye, she looked up at me and said she won, not me. I could've cried for her! I told her it didn't matter that we were so proud of her and she did her best! 'course she takes after me so this lil talk didn't seem to help much lol Greg took her to wal-mart with him and let her pick out some video games and a barbie sleeping bag and he says that made things alot better, so I just hope this doesn't discourage her.
What a terrible awful person I am! I shouldn't even have a blog anymore! No, I'm not in a mood lol Here it is 2 am and I just woke up about an hour ago. I went to nap about 4 pm and slept thru everything! Greg handled the kids for me, but how I slept thru his mumblings and apparently him calling me from town twice (i talked to him) is beyond me. He just woke up and asked me why I'm at the desk and I said cause I didn't blog before I went to sleep, he knew visits were the top thing on my list, so he grunted and went right back to snoring lol.
I managed to make a few visits but I am heading back to bed now and will do my best to start over again tomorrow lol

Mornin' ya'll! Hope everyone has had a great week :) I'm still sick but I just miss everyone so much I can't stay away any longer lol I may only be able to visit a couple at a time but I am gonna visit everyone before I go to bed tonight!
Let's see now what's new here.... I've got laryngitis..not exactly front page news tho is it? lol
ok seriously lol.... Today is the final day of the reading contest at school! They sent home like 12 tickets to fill in info with book title and author, well Chantaye filled those up Tuesday night, so Wed. I sent a note with those tickets that she needed more, and 'Taye reminded ding-bat..well then yesterday 'Taye told brainiack again 3 times I NEED more tickets and still not a single ticket! I am really beginning to hate this teacher! Well we were talking about the contest yesterday after school and 'Taye didn't know she could win a trophy well as soon as I told her that she said "I WILL win this!" lol omg the look of total determination on her face made me glow :) She kept sending me to the bookcases to get more books, thank goodness we have 1 case packed with kid books lol I had to make this child go to bed at 10 last night, she wasn't ready to "give up" as she put it lol I wrote all her info on index cards (made me a copy on paper too lol) and all total she has read 60 books! some of which were chapter books! (42 last night alone) I am so proud of her I could just bust!!! She asked this morning if she had time to read more lol When I dropped her off a bit ago when the teacher on car- duty opened the door for her first thing out of her mouth was I read 60 books! lol I know I'm making a big deal about this but to me it is huge! lol Ya'll pleeeeeease cross your fingers for her, she will be so heart-broken if she doesn't win. We are going to do something special for her whether she wins or not, but I just can't imagine another 1st grader being determined enough to read 60. Greg says if she doesn't win then we are gonna call and demand an explanation because he thinks the air-head may be trying to keep 'Taye from winning since she wouldn't give her more tickets.
Ok enough about that lol
I added 2 new lil adoptions from my friends Becky P. & Becky W. thanks ladies :)
I had more to write but Angela got me all distracted now and I can't remember what I was gonna say rofl! I'll try to make it back tonight and let ya'll know how 'Taye does with the contest :)

I just wanted to let ya'll know I'm still among the living here, or so they tell me lol I'm still pretty sick and I'm fighting a real mood to go along with it, so please forgive me for not being around the past few days. I hope to get back within a day or two and catch up with everyone.
