Today was Baby Angela's birthday, she's a big 3 now! *insert sobs here* Where did the time go?! It seems like only yesterday we were driving 100 miles an hour to get back to Crossville and get to the hospital, it could've only been hours ago that I was yelling at Dr. A telling him to hurry she's not gonna wait for you to change into scrubs! (and she almost didn't) I have so many wonderful sweet memories, not to mention the funny ones and the ones that still to this day make me so mad I could scream lol the mad memories were of two "techs" that did not have the foggiest idea how to do an I.V., and then of course there was the one nurse that thought she would make Greg go stand in the corner and she would raise me up and "help" me push, yeah well needless to say that's what she got for doing her own thinking rofl she got herself kicked right out of the room by good ol Dr. A! oh how I loved that man! lol best dr. I ever had while I was pregnant.
Anyhow, we didn't have a party for Angela today, we will do that this weekend, with Greg working and school it's just impossible to do things mid-week. My baby was a hoot tho! Everytime anyone said "Happy Birthday" she would start giggling, and then look at me, cover her mouth look sooooo adorable and then giggle a little more :) Greg asked her how old she was, and without being told, she looked at him like he was totally bonkers and says, "I'm 3 Daddy!" and held up 3 tiny little fingers. *insert more tears and a beaming smile*
If I don't stop I'll cry again..
How do you like the new look? Isn't it adorable? I received this beautiful collection as a gift today from Melissa! Thank you soooo much sweetie! She is such a wonderful lady, she made my day and had me in tears again :)
I finally got "my" stamps up tonight, I haven't gotten around to adding the ones I've collected yet tho. I'm supposed to be working on graphics and laundry, but I just had to take a small break to redecorate and blog a bit before I get back to work :) I'll be around to gather stamps from everyone soon :)

Where do the hours go? I knew I wouldn't get to post on Saturday, but I thought sure I would get to Sunday, but I got so swamped with laundry and dealing with Angela I didn't manage to accomplish anything. I have already been to bed tonight but am back up because I am so nervous about going to the dentist in the morning. I know it probably won't be any worse than last time, but I'm a little freaked out about it. Tomorrow is the day they remove the temp caps, crowns..whatever! lol and put on the permanent ones, now I have no idea on earth how they remove the temps and I think that is what has me the most scared. I guess they will have to hook me up to the "fraidy-cat air" tomorrow lol I've been staying away from getting the gas the past few trips but I'd say he will take one look at me tomorrow and send me straight to "my room" rofl yeah, so I'm a big ol baby, but at least I've gotten to the point where I can go without Greg lol
We went to Knoxville over the weekend, and it was such a waste of effort in a way..I lost count of how many shoes I tried on, Greg was counting since him & Waymond had a bet on it lol I never found the shoes I wanted :( we even made lots of calls to save time driving from one place to another and nobody had them, so I finally ended up getting a pair of New Balance, I'm not happy with them but I knew if I didn't get something Greg was pretty close to making me walk home lol
Greg left for work early tonight and went on down to Murfreesboro and got 2 pairs of the ones I want in two different sizes..the man is just too sweet sometimes :)
I don't have much to tell other than we are expecting snow, they are saying we should get around an inch or better *sigh* and just when I thought I could change graphics over to something bright and pretty, I may do it anyhow tho since Valentine's is right around the corner. I must admit I was tempted to decorate for Angela's birthday too lol my little baby will be 3 on the 28th!! everytime I think about it I go all misty-eyed and sappy, my baby is growing up way too fast!

I reckon they oughta just take me out and shoot me! I'm sorry for being such a terrible blogger *hanging head in shame* I really meant to post before now, but everytime I thought about it I was in the middle of something and then I just totally forgot about it. When ya think about it tho it's no wonder I'm senile with Greg being home 2 extra days & nights and the kids being out of school an extra day lol
Last Friday after school I took Angela to mom's and then came back and picked up Greg & the other 2 kiddies and I drove them down to the farm, that is usually Greg's job, but his car caught on fire Friday afternoon so I wasn't real thrilled about him going anywhere without me, the car is fine tho and so is sweet-pea!
Saturday we got up kinda early and waited for Waymond to show up then we loaded up and headed for Nashville. We went to Opry Mills Mall and did a bit of shopping, picked up a few new books, video games, and searched high and low for a special angel that I've been hunting since at least December. I tried to find me some new Nike's but nobody had the right ones and nobody outside the mall had my size *sigh*. We grabed a bite in the food court and then went and hung out at the arcade inside Opry Mills, they have a bar and restaurant inside the arcade so we played a bit, I beat both the guys! lol then we went over to the bar and I had a strawberry daiquiri to celebrate beating the 2 giants lol (they're giants to me ;) with my sweetie at 6' 5 1/2' and Waymond at 6' 1", and then midget me at a whopping 5' 0" on tippytoes, with shoes)
We headed to Kentucky from there and I dozed a bit on the way tho it wasn't easy with those two chattering away and scaring the daylights out of me everytime I got comfy lol then we headed back to Nashville and did a bit more shopping, without much success. I have been craving white beans and hushpuppies from Uncle Bud's so we stopped in there and it was literally nothing to write home about! It was the worst I've ever had from there, so we are heading to "the good one" up in Pigeon Forge in a few weeks. We finally got home around midnight or a little after and then the guys played video games until like 6 am! lol Waymond left and we went to bed and managed to sleep all day and not do anything we had planned on Sunday. I got up somewhere around 2 Sunday afternoon, Greg was still snoring away, so I got ready and went and picked up Angela and came on back home. We all 3 got cleaned up and headed to Shoney's around 8 or so that night and had planned to hit Wal-Mart but it was just so blooming cold we came back home.
Are ya still with me? lol This has been a pretty calm week, I've been working on some custom graphics, and a few of my new "characters" and some html so I can get some updating done, and laundry. I've been dealing with colds and then everyone passing them on to me, and now Greg has an ear infection, and as old as he is this is the first one he's ever had! and he is not a pretty site lol I don't mean that to sound mean, it's just that the boy doesn't do well with pain lol He asked me how I can keep from going to the dr and stuff when I have them, well gee dear I had 3 babies and I have endo. an ear infection is nothing to me rofl this comment of course caused lots of eye-rolling lol
Oh yeah before I forget! Andrea asked if I was back to showers rofl! yes, dear I am, but I'm still not wild about waiting til it's dark! rofl @ my own sillyness ;)

All together now, let's all yell, in a whisper at least, Aretha IS stupid! ok now I'll tell ya why..
I have been reading a new book and I had a hard time getting real into it, but today for some reason I got hooked and didn't want to put it down, well I just finished it and omg I am a nervous wreck! I am literally shaking here. I'm sure I'll think it's funnny in a day or so, but right now I just feel idiotic. I swear I don't know what got into me, I read murder stuff all the time, but this one went further and was horror! course it wasn't in the horror section when I bought it the stupid thing was sitting there with all the "normal" mystery type stuff. I know I'm rambling and I do apologize, but I don't feel quite so "alone" while I'm typing, here I had planned on grabbing a shower and calling it a very early night, well now I can't do that, I might be able to brave a bath, but won't catch me closing a shower curtain until Greg is home or it's at least daylight! rofl now I really feel ridiculous for typing this.
Oh well, maybe I gave one of ya'll a giggle or a smile. I'm off to watch tv and then find a nice safe romance to read, and if all else fails I can always read Charlotte's Web rofl!

Today has been fairly quiet, but fairly busy too. I was up all night again with Angela, poor little thing has a terrible cold from being drug out in the cold the other morning when I took the kids to school and she has such a hard time sleeping, so I spent most of the night rocking her so she could be in an upright position and make it easier to breathe. I gave her some more meds earlier and she is finally asleep now, I just hope she can sleep thru the night, but I'm not counting on it since she's been up twice since I got her down.
I have managed to do some drawing today while I wasn't rocking. I have made a new little premade, but don't have it named yet, I plan on making it a series and I have quite a few more to make before I upload any. The new ones are a tad different than things I've done before, but I'm kinda proud of them :) I don't wanna tell too much until I "unveil" them, and only a couple of people have seen them, but they are gonna be a lil on the chubby side instead of the lil "beanpoles" I usually do lol
Greg is heading in to get something for a verrrry late supper for us since the kids have already ate, so I've gotta get his clothes for him and then it's back to work for me, ya know I often wonder how he ever managed to get dressed before me, either he's spolied or just beyond all hope lol

We ended up with between 2 and 3 inches of snow last night, course this was on top of the mountain of sleet that fell first. I've had a rough day with Bradley today, he has been in such a mood because there was no school, I reckon he thinks I cancelled school to annoy him lol
I stayed up all night doing laundry and I still have more to do tonight, but I *hope* I get sleep tonight, I am just beat.
I had a pretty good scare today, Bradley's heater made a noise and then when I squatted down to look I got a whiff of propane so I turned off the shut-off valve until Greg got home. Greg was cleaning the heater and then he used that can air stuff and tried to relight the pilot and when he did that a big whoosh of fire came out at him! I literally almost fainted, I just thankful that he's ok tho! His fingers got a lil burned, but he says it's not bad, they just looked red after it happened, and he singed some hair on his arm, but he didn't even need the "burn stuff" that we got from a firefighter friend.
I love that man so much I don't know what I would do without him! He has had a real ball with me today tho, he keeps making fun of me for the scream and almost fainting! I guess as long as he's ok maybe I should let it slide just this once ;)
Looks like there's no Friday Five this week so I'm off to piddle awhile before trying to go to sleep.

Well so much for "normal" Southern living..they are predicting 3 inches of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and anything else they can think of *sigh* according to the weather site it says we have freezing rain falling now. I swear I am so sick of this weather, first it's liveably warm and then we have thunderstorms and now they are calling for a blizzard, I mean really what is up with this? humph! lol
Not alot going on here in the frozen south today lol I just started laundry, that should keep me busy until mid-morning tomorrow. I had planned on starting it as soon as Greg left for work, but I stretched out on the couch after I got the kids fed just to rest for a few minutes and I dozed off and Greg woke me up after 8 when he called. Where's ol "Jeeves" when ya need him ;0)

Anyone seen the valium van? if you do send him to my house!! This has been like the week that I should be hidden away in a cave!
My mom called me last night and said it was on the news that school would start an hour late today, ok so I set the alarm for an hour later than normal, well when I got up I checked the internet to see if they had changed it, well it wasn't listed at all, so here I go calling mom, she hadn't heard anything, so I told her to call the school while I got everyone dressed. I was about to scream because nothing was going right, well she called me back and the school told her it was Cumberland, Kentucky! ahhhhhh! enter lots of screaming in frustration here. It was already 7 am! I started the truck and let it warm up and then ran out to see if I could even get in the thing since it was a whole whopping 8 degrees!!! Well I had to beat and bang on both doors but I finally got it open, so here we go traipsing out there, my windows are covered in ice, I'm out there spraying that de-icer to beat he** and then I can't spray anymore because I can't feel my hands, so I figure the lil square I have clean will have to do, and omg the inside was ice too! I got a napkin and did the best I could with it and took off, I barely got the kids there in time without me having to go inside and sign them in late. Can ya tell I am just so frazzled I could use a stiff drink or something? To top all of this off Angela has been in a snit all day and clobbered me right on top of the head with one of her baby tad toys, not the soft one but the extrmemely hard plastic one! needless to say I'm still feeling it, with a headache that just won't quit. When the kids got home from school Bradley was in a mood even before he walked in the door, and has been non-stop tantrums all night! ya know the "nut-house" is starting to sound pretty appealing right now, just think, a nice soft padded room all to myself and hey I bet it's soundproof too!
Sorry this has been such a crappy post week ladies! maybe it will get better soon! if it doesn't I may have to bang my head awhile until I knock myself silly.

I have been counting down the days until life returned to "normal" so I could get back to normal with my time and playtime with Angela and everything and boy am I sorry to see "normal" return now!
I was getting the kids stuff ready last night and Greg called to tell me to stop that I was wrong the kids don't go back to school until tomorrow, Tuesday, ok well that means I can stay up late and get online and chat and do all sorts of stuff right? yeah well that's what I got for doing my own thinking! don't you know it stormed here AGAIN last night! what is up with thunder & lightning in January for Pete's Sake!
I assumed today would be just another regular ol day right? bah! It has gone from bad to worse.
I got up with a migraine and I still haven't gotten rid of it, so why am I on here posting? cause if I don't vent I am going to explode! When Greg got back from making the remote start guy replace and repair the crappy work they did to his car, the guy has been closed and gone on vacation until today while the mess they did to his car made his battery stay dead unless we kept it unplugged, he told me that there was something wrong with the bank account. I logged on to the bank account and tried to figure out what was wrong, genius boy thought I had been shopping online, tho I'm not sure why cause I never spend even $5 without talking to him first, so after I ripped into him pretty good for even thinking that I went on with my mission..I printed out the statement for the entire month of December and finally found the stupid problem..are you ready for this? Well, I sure wasn't lol
We use the lil card thingy like a credit card instead of just an atm card, well he had used it at Long John's like the 16th of December, and yes we even had it written in the log, everything was present and accounted for basically, but what do you reckon I found? Those total idiots at LJS have double charged it!!! I want to know how this happens..I mean please like $21.21 wasn't enough, no let's jack it on up to $42.42! I know we eat alot but dang, even we couldn't come close to eating that much fish, even if we had company! lol Greg is heading back in tomorrow I reckon to handle it with them face to face along with the printed statement, heaven knows I don't need anywhere near this matter even on the phone, I won't go into some of the words I've used all day, even yelling at Greg, but well let's just say I've been cussing a blue streak!

I try sooooo hard to keep my temper from coming out here, well I don't let it show all the way ;) but omg this has been one of the most aggravating days I've had in a while, I mean first off I get insulted by goober boy and then I find out I've been ripped off grr! I know! $21 isn't a big deal and it's not alot of money, but geez Louise when it throws the bank account off and causes an argument it might as well be $2,100! lol Ok, I'm crawling off my yelling box (kinda like a soap box, but it has steps lol) and heading back to my ice-pack and darkness.

How bout them Vols? rofl! I am soo proud to say that Clemson just whupped them vols! 27-14 in the Peach Bowl! Can ya tell I am verrry happy with the results here? I've never been a Clemson fan, but shoot I'll root for most anybody playing against the vols lol We missed having Waymond here to watch the game with to gloat, but we've messaged him and called his cell to rub it in just a bit lol
We have just hung around the house today, Greg and 'Taye went to town to get some lunch and stuff to make tacos tonight, we have never made tacos before, but they turned out pretty decent, I went vegetarian tho and left the meat for everyone else, I guess I'm just a big oddball cause I hate beef in most stuff.
Greg & 'Taye are over here playing video games now, he's trying to teach her how to play Street Fighter, and well I'm not sure if it's going well or not lol everytime she gets hit in the game she gets mad, and she can't remember which buttons do what lol I'll probably go play against Greg myself in a bit and show her how it's done ;)

Happy New Year ladies!
We spent a quiet New Years Eve here at home. I've developed like a superstition about leaving home on New Years Eve in the past few years, ever since Greg & I got together everytime we go anywhere on New Years Eve we somehow manage to have car trouble, and it doesn't matter what we are driving either so I'd rather be home than be out and about and have some new disaster crop up especially with all the kids.
Greg went in to town and grabbed some movies and loads of food, he brought chinese, mexican and sonic too lol so needless to say we were pretty stuffed by the time we started the movie. We only managed to watch one last night, one was more than enough for me tho! We watched Jeepers Creepers 2 and omg! I was worse than a nervous wreck! We had to pause it while I went to get Angela a bottle and just as I got to the doorway goober boy made some kind of noise or said something to me, I don't even know which to tell the truth, anyway..I screamed at the top of my lungs, it scared the daylights out of me, I was so sure I had been "got"! I was so terrified by the time the movie was over the only room I could go in alone was the kitchen! Ya know I love my sweetpea, but dadgum he can be so mean! lol ohhhh but I did manage to get him back a little lol he was in the kitchen pouring the margaritas and I stepped to the kitchen door and calmly said Boo! it was so funny, he almost dropped the blender! rofl I think he was a tad more scared than he admitted because he fought in his sleep alot, I ended up getting clobbered just as I was dozing off lol, but you know sweet innocent me ;) I let it go...NOT! rofl I have really poured on the guilt trip today ;)
We opened the champagne just in time to drink a toast as they dropped the ball in New York, and then we had our own countdown and another toast an hour later. It felt funny tho toasting twice, but there's no countdown or anything in our time zone, well if there is we don't know it lol, we usually don't toast or anything except for our time zone, but I told Greg I wanted to say I rang it in with my net buddies, and then I could ring it in again with the locals lol I did do something this year that I never do, I called my mom at a few minutes after midnight and wished her a Happy New Year, one of my cousins that we lost a few years back always called at midnight and she had mentioned that she missed those calls so I thought it would be fun to bring back a few memories.
We had our New Years dance and then watched some tv and he dozed off so I sat and finished another book lol I only had like 20 chapters left and well I couldn't go to bed without finding out what happened lol

not usually, but we did this year (it's too hard to find a champagne I like so we usually stick to other stuff)

nope never did, I was usually busy reading on the years I stayed awake lol I guess some things never change ;)
