BRRR! I can't remember it being this cold unless it was over 20 years ago! The windchill made it at least 18 below last night, mom said she heard it was colder than that but I just get my info online lol
And now they are predicting even more snow! All this nasty mess is really defeating the purpose of living in the south lol, not that I'd live anywhere else but geez I thought this was "northern weather" lolGreg got his new truck today, we couldn't find one in the state so the dealer finally found what he wanted down in Georgia so they picked it up yesterday. I was supposed to drive him down in my truck, but since the roads were still messy he had a friend ride with him and bring his car back for him. I told him when he got back with it that I was gonna take it away from him and he could keep driving his taurus lol. This truck makes him 2 new since I got my truck...is it just me or is there something seriously wrong with this picture? lol Now I just have to learn to drive a stick so he can kiss the truck good-bye lol I still haven't decided what I want, I've got it narrowed down to like 4 or 5 now, but I keep finding lil differences..like heated seats and a heated steering wheel. I know that sounds odd, at least that's what I thought at first, who needs or wants a heated wheel, well this week I had the answer..ME! lol Then you've got the dvd packages, and 3rd row seats, and navigation, and lumbar seats (a major thing for me), course how it looks is important lol. and now I hate to admit it but the name is playing a bigger role than I ever thought it would.
Sorry to ramble on, but I kinda think it might help make my decisions a lil easier if I get it off my chest so to speak lol, guess maybe I'm just too indecisive :)

Greetings from miss popsicle of the frozen south! lol We got snow again last night, not sure how much is out there but the roads are definitely not a pretty picture. Greg made it back home this mornin tho but it took alot longer than usual. He called my cell on the way to work last night to let me know that it was a good possibility he would get stuck, he no sooner got it out of his mouth than the truck in front of him wiped out slamming the guard-rail. My nerves have been totally shot! We don't have a 4WD anymore and he was driving his car instead of my truck (i have posi-traction lol) so needless to say every sound I heard had me jumping out of my skin until he called back to let me know he was officially in the parking lot at work lol He's in town now getting heat lamps to put in Bear's house so I will shut up about bringing the beast inside lol Bear is a chow and has never been house-trained so of course I worry when we have this weather. I can't remember how cold it got last night, but I just looked and it's like 9 degrees with a wind-chill of -9, and if that aint quite cold enough they say the actual temp will be around 5 below tonight! I wanted to get a quick post in just to let ya'll know that so far I'm not frozen solid quite yet ;)
I'll try to make a few visits tonight, but if I don't please don't hold it against me, because there's a real good chance I will lose electricity or the phone line with things like this.

BRRR! It was like 1 degree last night! It may have been colder, but that's what it was when I went to bed. We ended up with 2 more inches from 7 or 8 til around 12 tonight, that's not counting what fell all day long or what is still falling. I just can't get over this mess! Since I haven't been out in it I had no idea how bad it really was, but Greg said that one of the guys he works with lives fairly close to the plant but it took him 8 hours to get home on Friday morning.
It's been an average boring day here, just watching tv, the Barrett-Jackson auto auction thingy is on now, and omg the money people are spending on these cars never ceases to amaze me, needless to say my chin has been on the floor most of the night lol
Sorry I didn't get around to visit last night, but I spent time with Greg and did a lil drawing and was plumb tuckered by the time I got to bed. I'm headin off to visit now :)

My sweetie is home!! woohoo! I didn't go to sleep til like 5 am this morning laying awake missing him. I know I complain all the time about his snoring and it does drive me up the wall, but I'm just lost when he's not here. This is only the 2nd or 3rd time we have been apart in like 9 years except the one time we were separated. I guess I'm just an old softy when it comes to my lil mushy lol
He is in a tad bit of trouble tho lol, he was trimming his mustache and got a lil trim happy so he had to basically shave the mustache, he looks about 12 years old lol, it really gets to me when he has to shave it's like there's a different man in the house.I still haven't heard how much snow we actually have out there, but they say we are gonna have some more tomorrow, now whether it amounts to anything is a different story lol, but like Scarlett, "I'll think about that tomorrow" lol but for now I'm gonna go sit in my rocking chair and watch Greg sleep.
I know that sounds idiotic even for me rofl, but he's not snoring so he looks so sweet :)Have a great weekend ya'll :)

Yep it's definitely cold in here lol Never a good sign when I start my entry talking to myself is it? Brace yourself... snow has hit! and by george it has landed and stuck too lol I'm not sure how much we have, but they let school out at 11:30 here, and most other places in the state was earlier than that. They say we will probably have right around 8 inches and we're on the 1 end of the county that gets hit hardest in storms except for the tornados. Yes, I know I'm ramblin, and I am sorry for doing that but I'm lonesome and feeling sorry for myself :(

My "Lil Mushy" didn't get to come home from work this morning..waaaahhh!! Yes I have honestly cried like a baby. He called me when he got out of the plant and said it was starting to stick there and that he was getting ready to head this way, well bless my soul if he didn't call back in about half an hour and said it was getting slick, in my words.. "slicker than Al-grease".. so I told him I would rather he stayed in a motel and came home tomorrow than to risk something happening to him just because I'm odd about not seeing him :( I talked to him on my way in to pick 'Taye up and he said that there were crashes non-stop left and right all over the place! apparently they didnt go start with the liquid salt even on the interstates between here and there. idiots! lol Shoot on my way in this morning they were out spraying liquid salt here and it wasn't even misting, but apparently smyrna doesn't do that since thats where his slipping started. On my way home there were folks starting to spin at red-lights and what-not, not sure how I managed to hold it together lol seriously my nerves get all in knots in the snow and it's 10 times worse when I'm behind the wheel whether it's sticking or not.Ok I've wrote a book here, sorry ya'll, see boring and a rambler lol well at least we know I've moved up on the idiot scale since I'm not quite as dense as the lil boy that played tag with the light-pole rofl

This is only a quick post but I heard something on the radio I just had to share. Turns out there are actually people that are nuttier than me lol
An 18 year old intentionally drove his truck into a utility pole injuring himself and 2 passengers. According to the boy's statements one of his truck speakers was not working so he needed to "tap" the truck on something to make it work!
Now I'm the first to admit I'm honestly not the brightest bulb, and yes I am slow and simple- minded..but geeez louise! this kid really takes the cake! lol and people wonder why I complain so much about having to drive. I just couldn't resist letting ya'll know that I'm really not the nuttiest loon on the loose lol

Mornin' ya'll. Total shock me posting before 6 a.m. I know lol, but I haven't been to sleep so I figured I best squeeze in a quick post before I have to get the kiddies up and take 'Taye to school.
I don't know bout ya'll but I'm plumb sick of the weather and the colds! It was like 60-ish the other day nobody needed jackets or anything and now we're back to freezin and even had to crank the heat up higher than it has been, and now they're back on that snow kick. 'Taye had this tacky cold last week well now Greg is the only one that don't have it, Lil Mimi & Bubba have been stirring all night long cause when they lay down it's like they can't breathe real good but if they try to sleep sitting up they fall over lol. They are definitely a comical pair, I walked by Bradley's room and he was starting to lean way over to the side like an old man on a park bench course I busted cacklin and that made him stir just enough to keep from falling over lol Mimi is a hoot, she keeps scootin up against the rails on the crib so she has a little support but she's a tad on the round side so she reminds me of the weebles the way she kinda rocks around lol. Now I'm a different story all together, I am so dizzy right now you'd swear I was higher than a Georgia Pine, I can't stand up straight at all now, let's just hope I don't get my big rear pulled over driving her to school cause there's no way I could pass the sobriety test..shoot I'd probably even flunk the alphabet part roflOh I did make some visits last night, but I forgot to do the tags and stuff til after I had been and read everyone's and had settled back in on the couch lol, please pardon this lil staggerin soul I'm really a hazard now ;)
Well it's time to get the kiddies up, this should be fun, all of us acting drunk lol. I guess it fits tho, not only do I have a baby strip section for lil miss i hate clothes lol, but now it looks like I'm serving drinks too lol

Ever have one of those weeks where you want to go running thru the county screaming like a wild woman? Ok, so maybe I'm the only oddball lol A little warning you might want to skip this post
This has been a terrible week for me, seems like I have single-handedly managed to tick everyone off, doesn't matter if I turn left or right or if I sit still I'm not doing things the way others want it done. I'm beginning to think I need my own personal complaint department. I seem to be short about 14 of me to accomplish the things that need done and part of what everyone seems to think I should be doing or the things they want done.
I am in desperate need of a vacation before I totally explode. I imagine poor old Greg will be ready for a vacation himself after he has to listen to me vent and rant all weekend lolI'm sorry for such a bad post so please overlook me this time, I try so hard not to let many emotions show here but if I don't get a little out I'll be bald by mornin.

What a week! I'm bout ready for the mother-ship to beam me home lol
Greg's grandpa had to stay here on Monday night so I had mom keep Bradley so I could juggle beds lol, well poor ol 'Taye couldn't sleep worth a flip in Bradley's bed, then his grandpa's snoring and oddball noises kept Mimi awake since her room is next to 'Taye's, and I just can't sleep with an extra body in my house at all lol So that got my sleep and my week totally out of whack, well last night I was sick and had insomnia too so yet again I beat my fool self to death grrrr.. anyhow enough of my sleep mess
See told ya'll I had a boring life, I go bloggin to talk about loss of sleep lol
Hmm let's see what else do I have to report ;) Oh my contacts came in today, course idiot that I am I went zoomin right on past the eye dr so now I have to try to remember to pick them up tomorrow. This is the first time I've ever had to wait, they usually have them in stock so it's really throwin me off.
Oh yeah other news lol.. I finally got my adoption shoppe re-opened, everything is all redone now, I've got so many now that frames just didn't suit me :) I have plans for several adoptions coming soon, depending on how much me time I can get to work on things lol I've been re-doing the adoption collections I've got too, but as usual I've changed my mind so many times it's not even funny lol I had like 6 sections done the other day but have since yanked them down and am trying to redo it again.Isn't my lil adventures girl just adorable? My sweet friend Karen surprised me with it, she totally captured me sitting here at my desk, right down to the blue shirt, blue jeans and no socks rofl, now how she knew that part is a mystery to me but a perfect fit :)
Well I'm off to find some cold meds for lil 'Taye and then after Greg goes to work I'm goin bloggin :)

Not too much to write about today, it's just been a regular ol day here. I've been workin on my adopt shoppe trying to get everything finished so I can re-open, but I can never make up my mind on what graphics to use or what kind of layout I want. I have to be the most indecisive person ever lol
I don't always share all my thoughts and such but I'm going to share a little, and it might explain why I've got writers block so to speak ;) I have been thinking for a long time about having another baby, I've been giving it alot more serious thought lately, my clock is ticking so loud it's pathetic. I don't know if having another baby would be the right thing to do, but my heart doesn't seem to want to listen to my brain lol I don't even know that I could have another baby. I know I am extremely blessed to have all 3 of my lil ones, they said I would never have kids and it tickles me pink that I've proved them wrong 3 times, so getting pregnant doesn't happen easily for me and the pregnancies were not easy either. The sweet smiles,and all the firsts and oh that sweet baby smell tends to send all those thoughts right out of my head lol. Last weekend when we took the kids shopping I actually cried after seeing all the little babies in the stores, sweet tiny no more than 3 months old babies.
Ok enough of that and on to other things.I may have to make Greg eat his pillow tonight! He kept me awake all night long with his snoring, or is it a Mack truck inside him making that hideous racket! I've got 3 pairs of ear-plugs and I tried all 3 pair with 2 pillows on my head and omg!!!!!!!!! nothing helped it was like I wasn't even trying to block the noise. I pushed, smacked, kicked, poked, mumbled, talked, flipped you name it and nothing phased him! how could he sleep thru all that and never even flinch?! He is driving me insane with his racket right now too, the heathen is asleep on the couch and he's louder than the blasted tv! You've heard of the "twinkie defense" wonder if there's a "snore defense", I mean surely it would be justifiable right? rofl
Well I'm off to cut my hair before I pull it all out from listening to this creature lol

Happy New Year! I know I'm late, but it just wouldnt be normal if I was ever on time lol
I have actually sat down and had greymatter open a dozen times to try and post but something always gets me distracted and I totally lose my train of thought lol
Things were basically quiet here new year's eve, we had a friend over to watch some movies and then him and Greg played video games, which was pretty comical cause it's real easy to sneak up on him in the game lolGreg went back to work last night after the lil vacation, I enjoyed him being home, but I think we were definitely getting on each others nerves just a little too much, but I guess that's normal when you're used to a certain schedule. I don't think either one of us knows quite what to make of actual vacations more than once a year lol
Ya know I always knew my life was pretty boring but I don't think I ever realized just how boring until I started blogging, seems like everything is just too blah to write about lol
Well I'm off to get ready for the snow, we're under a snow advisory tonight so it'll be fun to see if we actually get any this time lol
