Well what a day this has been lol I've been grumbling and complaining about all the cooking I was gonna have to do for Thanksgiving, I know the complaining is nothing new lol Today Greg finally got tired of listening to me and he called and ordered a dinner leaving me with only having to make enough dressing and tater salad for us 4. (Bradley won't eat dressing or tater salad lol) I talked to mom and told her that we had just ordered it well then she gets annoyed with me and said she had bought a small turkey breast today, well a small breast ain't gonna be enough to feed them and all 5 of us, unless we only eat once lol I finally broke down and told Greg to cancel the order that I will just cook and get it over with, but there will be no special requests it will be my menu and that's it lol We assumed his grandparents would end up being here since their car messed up on them, but he called and they are gonna drive their truck over to his dad's so that brings my cooking total down a bit, Waymond will probably show tho since his mom has to work and won't be having a dinner at all, and I doubt that my uncle and cousin will show up because they usually go hunting and I haven't been able to convince them yet unfortunately.
We have a busy day tomorrow, we have to go do all the Friday stuff, and get the groceries and hopefully I'll get to do a bit of shopping ;) I don't have a clue what to get anyone this year, but at least I can help Greg figure out what to get me right? rofl
I'm awful I know, but I just gotta find me some more jammies lol

Oh Aretha, when the kids are small, you have days like that! But they grow too quickly! I would try next year having everyone bring a dish, then it will go easier for you. Happy Thanksgiving sweetie, I hope you day is filled with many blessings!

Hi Aretha. When I used to have days like you had today. I would just take it all with a grain of salt. When my kids got older and I would have the gang over for Thanksgiving, I would tell them all to bring a dish of whatever food I wanted them to cook. This made the holiday easier for me and made them all feel like they were pitching in. Try that next time. Having to do all the cooking nowadays can be very trying especially when half the people eating with you are picky eaters. And yes, you can add me to your reads. I've bookmarked you. Have a peaceful Wednesday. (Hugs)
