windy & colder that kraut! BRRR! Dadgum it's cold! The frost was so thick yesterday you would've sworn it had snowed! Today has been so windy it's pathetic, I swear I think we went from melt-down dead of summer to just flat out winter! where are the normal temps for fall? I mean honestly what is with this 37 degree temps? ugh! We went to Wal-mart yesterday to get some buttons and a few other things, we found Angela a new pair of shoes, they are Disney Princess sneakers with zippers & lights, and let me tell you she thinks she's the stuff with those lol after we tried them on her she wouldn't let us try on anything else, once she makes up her mind that's it lol

I figured since it was so cold they would have the jammies out, I felt like Elmer Fudd, "be vewwwy quiet, I'm huntin jammies" lol, but don't you know they didn't have a single flannel or even long sleeved thing! shoot I'm liable to freeze waiting on them lol

We were over in the freezer section getting some pizzas and this lady went by with a lil one, oh about 4 maybe, in the cart and this child was having an all out screaming hissy fit, well do you think Miss Angela could let that pass? of course she couldn't! lol she yelled out, "Shut up baby!", omg I could have just died right there, I was embarrassed but fighting the laughter, we got on to her and told her that wasn't nice, well she looked right pitiful for a minute then looked up pointed and whispered, "Mimi good, baby loud" lol

We decided we would have Chinese yesterday, I seldom eat Chinese, maybe once or twice a year, but oh it was sooo good! anyway, on the way there Angela yells at us, "I WANT A BURGER!" now we hadn't given her burgers before, so here we go to Dairy Queen, why Greg picked there is beyond me lol, when we get in the parking lot she says, "Mommy, I want cheeseburger", Greg went in and got her one with only cheese so there wouldn't be a huge mess, and omg! she ate almost the whole thing by herself! if the bun hadn't been so thick I think she would've been able to eat it all! My little baby is growing up too fast! I have cried my eyes out a dozen times since yesterday, part of it is pride that she's being such a big girl, but the other part of me wants to hang on to her just the way she is..sounds kinda silly maybe, but I'm sure most of ya'll understand. I guess I'm just an ol sap lol

Today has been kinda depressing, I went to mom's after I dropped the kids off, to get her to help me with a pattern, and well basically we both ended up mad. I don't know what her deal was today but she was loud & kinda grumpy, I had a splitting migraine that wouldn't quit in the first place, and she was talking so loud you might as well call it yelling, I told her I'm sitting right here, no sense in yelling, you can yell when I get home and I'll be able to hear you just fine then, well she got in a huff, but yet if I get louder than a mumble she says I'm yelling..anyway..Greg called my cell to let me know he was home and was gonna make some Jambalaya, well he ended up calling back to tell me it was almost finished while I was trying to get out the door, and when he called back that ticked her off *sigh* well then she wanted me to bring home some apples, I don't know what kind they are, they're like a greenish-yellow color, I only eat red ones, so of course that ticked her off when I told her I didn't like that kind. Oh, and let us not forget the biggest bone of contention today..basically she thinks I'm "off the beam" or something for starting with the teddy bears and the other stuff I'm gonna be making, when I explained it all to her, that the basic plan is for it to be a business with a friend, she told me it was just plain silly. enough of that tho...

Angela has kept us entertained again today lol she bummed jambalaya from Greg and then when he finished his he got a massive bowl of ice-cream, he's trying to blow my half-way diet lol, she ended up choosing jambalaya OVER ice-cream! can you believe that! she came over and sat with mommy and bummed til it was all gone lol I thought it was just too cute & funny that she picked the spice over the sweet lol

Cute new look since my last visit....I've been a terrible blog-hopper, and worse friend for not staying in touch. Oh, girl, your incident with your mom sounds 'bout like how me & my mom having been carrying on lately....my mom thinks "her" way is the only right way, and that even though I'm 31 years old(for crying out loud), I should still "do what she tells me to do".......puuuuuuuleeze!!!!! Sympathetic hugs to you, babe! ;)

I just LOVE coming in here and reading your blog posts. I had a mouthful of diet pepsi right about the time I read Angela's Shut Up Baby...I nearly choked on an icecube. If I would have been there I would have laughed so hard that you would have probably had to slap me upside the head to get me to shut up. Have a fine and dandy weekend, kiddo~Hugs~

Aww, that Angela is too sweet! I was ROFL at her "Shut up Baby" comment! LOL Jackson always yells, "Mommy, WHY is that BABY crying?" or "Mommy, he's WHINING!" ROFL

I totally understand what you're saying about being proud and sad at the same time. I have been totally pouty that Jackson is getting so big. I can't believe I don't have a little baby anymore - he's tall and cute and has an opinion. *sigh* I wish they could stay little for MUCH longer!
