hurt & upset

What a day! I didn't sleep a wink last night, and still had energy left over this morning, I was gonna hop on aol after I dropped 'Taye off but Angela was totally wild, then Greg came home and pestered me til his grandparents got here with Bradley, so i figured once I got the kids all fed and situated then I would have some online time..well it didn't work out that way..Angela still won't go to sleep, Bradley is yelling every two seconds for some reason..'Taye was being the calm and quiet one, and so sweet! I just sat down from going back to Angela's room for the umpteenth time and then 'Taye decides she has a question that needs answered..she wants to know why I don't work for a living! Why does daddy work and ALL I do is stay home..then she comes off with, "that's supposed to be women's work" I asked her what in tarnation she was talking about and she says that having a real job is women's work not men's! I can not believe this child! I guess I should've just been a working mom instead of doing what I always wanted and thought was best, a sahm and a plain and simple housewife.
I promise to catch up with you aol girls soon, I've got myself a note here on the desk to turn aol on now so I won't forget, I wouldn't be very good company tonight so I'm gonna head to bed early.

Hi Aretha, kids come off with the darnest things, that can knock your socks off sometimes! She probably heard a friend say something like that. You are doing the best...being a SAHM, they will remember that the most!

Hey Girl - Took your lil' quiz... I got 60. Not bad for being clueless, huh?

That's ridiculous all the junk you have to buy for Bradley to go to school! We just had to get "the basics" for Blake - 16ct Crayons, scissors, glue (not a stick - LOL), 3 pencils, eraser, 2 folders, Kleenex, school box...

Last year they had "community supplies". Everything we sent was put into a bin and only given out when they needed them. Blake probably never got his own stuff and I totally hated that!
