I am soooooo sick of this weather I could scream! It has not stopped raining in days! We are beginning to have some serious flood problems here and in several other counties. Greg had to go take my truck yesterday and get like 3 or 4 loads of gravel just so I would have a place to park without my truck sinking into the mud! When I left Friday to take 'Taye to school it was a lil tough to get out cause of the mud, well when I got back home 15- 20 minutes later i slid trying to park so I just threw up my hands and said forget it! They had said our rain would stop at least for awhile on Saturday, yeah right! lol needless to say I am not real thrilled with my weather. I told Greg I thought the snow was melting up north and just running down south lol guess I was wrong he talked to his mom and she said they were sposed to get like 36 inches or better! egad! give me the rain anyday lol
Ok now I've grumbled and griped about my weather..on to my other annoyance lol I was sitting here minding my own business last night trying to draw and I got an adopt request well I took a quick peek at it and it was for one that had been removed from my menu back in January! I am still utterly peeved! This chick didn't provide a URL or anything in this form anyhow, so I hit reply and asked her how she found that adopt since it wasn't listed and she had used the form from that page...no big surprise I still haven't gotten a reply! so I've had to temporarily close my adopt shoppe and I deleted everything, since I have no way of knowing how she managed to nose thru stuff, I've got an i.p. number and I know it's from aol but not sure what else I can do to track this girl down...sad how dense I am huh lol

Ok now that I've droned on about all that mess..How was everyone's valentine's day? I haven't made many visits yet but I have noticed that a few hubbies didn't get it together and get their sweet wives anything! Now these men need a lil southern "explaining" lol the way I see it ladies, we should get this gaggle of men together and take em out behind my barn and give em some good ol hickory tea lol
My day was just a regular ol day lol I didn't get roses, cause I get mad when they die, and I'd rather be surprised with flowers on a plain ol Wednesday when I would never expect them lol so instead I got some dvds, a couple books and I couldn't resist a huge box of candy (not that i need that) oh and let us not forget my gravel! rofl only in the south will you ever hear gravel called a gift ;)
Ohh! have ya'll seen Sweet Home Alabama? omg! i rolled! I just loved it! I laughed I cried and I got mad, it is definitely a new favorite ;) oh and those accents.......yes that's pretty much how I sound lol

Aretha, are you from Alabama? I am and I am *sure* I do not have the accents that most Alabamians have on TV, ha! ha! (Surely I don't sound like that). Hoping you find warmer weather soon!

Girlfriend, "Sweet Home Alabama" ROCKS! As soon as it came out on DVD we bought it - in fact, I watched it again last night! It reminds me of us Missouri Hicks too! ROFL You've got me cracking up at the old hickory tea comment. *hee hee*

Sorry it's so... um... WET there! At least it's not snow! Do you think we're ever gonna get to plant any flowers??
