What a week! They say there's no rest for the weary, well I believe it! We got a letter the other day from the school they have filed a thing with the truancy court! can you believe this crap?! all because she has been sick so much this year! Greg called the truant officer and he said your child is 8 years old, you know where she is so I don't care..in so many words this is one of the most idiotic filings he has ever seen! He said to call the school and tell them he doesn't agree with them and they should work with us since we always send a note and she never misses unless she's sick, so Greg did and the morons said they don't care,they have filed and will follow up on all of it! I won't put here what I have said to and about these complete and total morons! We are transferring her effective Monday to the school that's roughly 10 minutes from home, but because of these dingbats we will have to have a drs note if we are even 5 minutes late! I'm sure ya'll can just imagine how ill I am, my temper hasn't been this hot in a very long time, and I doubt I'll cool down anytime soon lol ok on to other things...

Don't ya just love this new set by Irene? As soon as I saw them I knew I had to have them :) I will probably end up using them for more than just valentine's day, they just "fit" me and Greg to a "T", and for once he's not taller than me ;) lol

My baby turned 2 on Tuesday! Yes, I really have cried because she's growing up so fast, it seems like just yesterday I was yelling at the dr to hurry up and get in his lil scrubs and for Greg to shut up he was NOT helping lol She has been such a doll tho, she's been singing to me all week and now I've got her going around yelling 2, course when she holds up her fingers she does 1 on each hand lol but that only makes it sweeter to me :) She was eating her ice cream tonight, well last night lol, and kept going so fast she got a freeze-ache,it didn't stop her tho she thought it was funny, she had a lil giggle fest and then was ready to do it again lol
Lil Bubba's birthday is this week too, I get the feeling these kids are trying to make me old ;) then again I am "the ol' hag" according to Suzanne rofl
"Baby fever" is getting alot stronger now, and poor ol Greg said he could hear my clock ticking now lol
I'm gonna try to squeeze in a few visits before I have to drag my old pre-historic self to bed, but if I don't make it by to see everyone tonight I will tomorrow :)

Oh Aretha...I'm glad I'm not the only one having the baby bug!!!! But I AM old! And I had my tubes tied, so I'm outta luck! :o) Happy Birthday to Angela! Sorry I'm late with my wishes, I've been super busy! And that's BS about your 8 year old and the truant officer! What garbage! :o( Well, hope you have a great rest of the week! Lotsa hugs!

Hi Aretha! I'm sorry that you have to go through all that stuff.
Our 2 boys are failing one class each and they are threating holding them back or summer school. I'm soooo stressed out!! I'm very worried :( Take Care *Tootles*

Aretha, that is ridiculous - the whole ordeal with the school! Around here, kids have missed a ton of school because of illness. I think Blake has missed 5 or 6 days already.

Happy Birthday to lil' Angela. My baby just turned two also. Sad, isn't it?
